WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BUY

We’re Ecstatic That You Want To Transform Your Space With One Of Our Incredible Rock Spas! Here Are A Few Things You Need To Know Before You Buy!

1. Utilities

Electric: All of our units are going to require that you have an electrical outlet available where you will have your equipment. Electric heated units will require:

  • 4 Wire 220V with 60 Amps

Gas heated units will require:

  • 4 Wire 220V with 20-30 Amps

Gas: Depending on where you are in the Country, you may need a gas heater. Any region that gets below 45 degrees consistently is strongly recommended that you use a gas heater. Electric heaters will be okay for our “Earth” model as the body of water is small enough that electric will keep up, but for any of our larger units, we do recommend a gas heater. You can also use a propane heater but will need a commercial grade propane tank.

2. Call Before You Dig

It is crucial that before you make your mind up about a specific location for installation, that you call 811 to ensure that there are no city lines running through the area. Note: 811 will not know if you have sprinkler lines in the area, so if possible, please check with your landscaping team for more info.

3. Installation Site Grade

You will need a flat area for installation. The units can not be installed on a steep grade. A retaining wall would be necessary in the scenario you want it to be installed in that area. Keep in mind that grading is there for a reason, ensure drainage is not removed as this could cause other issues down the line.

4. Shipping

Shipping will be quoted and invoiced separately. You can use our chat feature on the bottom right of the page to contact us and get a shipping quote. Simply send us your address and the unit you are interested in and we will get back to you with an exact price. Or give us a call!

5. Equipment

Our units operate the same way a pool would operate. With a filter, pump, and heater installed near the unit. There are many options for equipment you can go with. Here is our list of recommended equipment for each unit: https://spawizards.com/equipment-recommendations/

The Earth Model and all above ground units include the equipment.

We recommend speaking to your installer for equipment options as well.
